La Digue, Seychelles This is La Digue in The Republic of Seychelles. Located about 1,000 miles east of the African coast in the Indian Ocean with 115 granite islands. Most of the island of La Digue is untouched by development and the preferred method of transportation is the bicycle. Jaw-dropping views of granite boulders, coconut palms, and turquoise water greet you upon arrival. The simplicity, pure air, and natural beauty will surround you and revitalize your senses. Typical a ctivities include walking, hiking Nid d'Aigle (the highest point on La Digue), kayaking, scuba diving and stand up paddling. Snorkeling is top-notch especially around Anse Sévère and Anse Patates. Île Cocos and Félicité will wow you with glassy turquoise waters and a showcase of healthy coral gardens. You will want several days to explore and be one with nature. La Digue is a prime destination for honey...
Wow, I just love waterfalls. They are so serene yet powerful! Thanks for the post- I have never heard of these falls before.... They seem a lot less touristy than the Niagra Falls. Just being in the rainforest alone adds to the experience. Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI love coming back to your posts! I've always wanted to travel especially to Brazil! The waterfall looks so beautiful and clear.
